- UB LEF (Luminance Enhancement FilmTM)
UBright’s first product developed in 2004, micro replicated prismatic structures collimate light to increase luminance. A single sheet provides up to 65% increase in luminance while two sheets crossed at 90° can provide even more. This increased luminance can be translated into power savings.

- UB LLEF (Laminated Luminance Enhancement Film)
QLEF is an optical film that is installed in a LCD backlight to increase a display’s color gamut. The film is manufactured using high precision coating and is designed to achieve high color gamut levels of LCD displays. When light passes through the film, vibrant hues are created by converting about 2/3 blue light emitted from a backlight unit to red and green light, which are then combined with the residual blue light to create a white light. Our film achieves a wide Rec. 2020 coverage that results in a greatly enriched array of perceivable display colors.

High Stability and Diffusion Performance
Our film provides high efficiency in converting absorbed light into emitted light, yet at the same time, is stable under both light and dark testing environments. In addition, our film has good defect and luminescence source hiding abilities thanks to our long-term experience and knowledge with optical diffusion design.
Wide Rec. 2020 Coverage and Energy Savings
Our film achieves a wide Rec. 2020 coverage that results in a greatly enriched array of perceivable display colors required for High Dynamic Range (HDR) media. Due to purer color components, less light is filtered out by a display’s color filter to achieve a brighter display. Moreover, compared to other wide color gamut solutions, our film can be pared with a more transmissive color filter for even more power savings.
White Point Control and Narrow Bezel Design
Our film is highly customizable for a controlled white point, and with minimal edge ingression a narrow bezel design is possible.
